Sorry, Aud, but you have confused me. What was your question and what are you confused about?

On this Writing Discussion forum, you will notice that several people have posted threads which ask this same question. Maybe some of the answers can help you. Queries have been answered in a variety of ways by a variety of people under such headings as "How do you publicise your book?", "Do you have an agent?" and "How to get a book published?" but my advice is - join a writers group. They will share current information with you and offer tips and advice, networking and critique your work.

Some rewrites and multiple edits and then BAM!! You're published. :D Or at least SELF published.

First, I would suggest organizing your writing collection, then standardize the format (size, font, spacing etc) Next, download a book template for the size book you'd prefer (-- ie. 6 inch x 9 inch) Copy and paste all your work into the pages with some semblance of separation between essays, short stories, etc. Print it out when finished. (Yes, you can print front and back of each page just like a real book) Create a cover and assemble your product together.( There are many ways -- go to Staples and browse binders, rings, heavy duty stapler, etc.. Now you have a make-shift book of your writings and thoughts. Pass it about to friends and relatives and gather your feedback. (You can make more than one copy to accelerate your presence.) Evaluate, decide, and pursue your dream! Remember, the worst thing you can do . . . is to stop writing. Good luck!
