The sample has a formatting issue that makes it difficult to read. Despite this, I find the story interesting. The characters and situations ring true. I wonder what tragedy will shake Bernie to the core. I'm totally intrigued. I'd like to read the rest of Bernie's story.

Thanks for the engaging review.

Based off of the cover I wouldn’t of given the book a second glance, by after reading this review I may actually pick this book up and see if it can call me in. The cover doesn’t call me in at all.

There are so many things that seem to be going on in the story. You mentioned romance, murders, mystery, and strained family dynamics. I think this is a bit too much for me in just one book, so I'll pass on this one.

I thought this was an awesome review. The summary was well-written and engaging - it made me all the more excited to read this book. Referencing the audience based upon some of the content was useful and well-articulated, and I believe you are right on the demographic as well. The only recommendation I have is that the title of the book be put into italics! Great job! :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Wow, sounds like this has quite a bit going on. Romance, murder, confused protagonist--this could be for anyone. Thanks for your review!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Between the couple of pages I read and this review, I am adding this to my list of books to read! It sounds very interesting with the mix of mystery and romance. Your review was intriguing without revealing too much of the book. Thanks!!

Nice review. This sounds like a good read for people who enjoy multiple genre mashups. With murder, mystery, romance, and more, people who don’t mind graphic sex and violence should give this one a try. Thanks for sharing.

Variety is really the spice of life, this book just demonstrates the this fact by inculcating different genres into a single book.
This is a plus for me and a boost to decipher what the book contains. This is a read for me no matter how the book is qualified.
Thanks for the explicit review.

Seems like a throttle to chaos and romance and so I would pass for now. It seems to be a fair review.

Bernie seems to live a really difficult life, anyone that has a difficult relationship with either parent always seem to go through alot. I hope to read the book soon so I'd find out what exactly the reviewer meant by "He lost everything close to him." Good review.

a book with almost everything that sounds enthralling, looking forward to hearing the story as the reviewer said it has a lot of sadness, loss, romance and murders too. Sounds like a typical life story and who doesn't want to hear a testimony.

Thanks for the great review. The book sounds like it deals with many emotions, which I usually like to read. The graphic violence is something I'll have to pass on.
