This book is filled with danger and espionage during some of the most notorious moments in history. I love that the main character is strong and ambitious and written really well. Congrats on the book of the day! Great review.

Thank you for the gray and thorough review! Sounds enticing and historical thrillers are starting to become my new favorite! I’m happy to see a strong feminine role as lead.

Kill Abby White! Now!
by C.B. Huesing

Stories about mobs fascinated me as well as the people who need to be in protective custody. Al Capone is a special interest to me ever since they found his vault. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The book sounds wonderfully intriguing. I'm a bit of a sucker for historical fiction that peppers the plot with real-life events/people.

tinymatters wrote: 26 Jan 2019, 12:02 I love historical fiction and am looking forward to reading this novel. I want to share it with my son, too. He is very interested in history around the Hitler era. Even though the reviewer states there are some grammatical errors, which I can be a real stickler about, I think I'll enjoy it.

rusyalana wrote: 26 Jan 2019, 12:11 The book sounds prety interesting. It has lots of twists and turns and seems to be really fast-paced with so many actions described in the book. The author did a great job combining so many historically important events like St. Valentine's Day Massacre, the Al Capone Trials, the Stock Market Crash, and the social climate in Germany during the rise and fall of Adolf Hitler. Congratulations on becoming BOTD! And thanks for making it free!

Willy 1 wrote: 26 Jan 2019, 12:20 It's quite unfortunate how Abby and her friends were at the scene of the crime. Having to leave everything behind for fear of death can be really scary. But from the little I can understand from the book, am relieved they were able to settle down considerably well. Good review.
Thank you, Willy.
