I was curious when I saw the book cover, and now I am all enlightened as to what this is all about, thanks to your review. Sounds like Timmy has great character development. Your review even made it more exciting to read. Thanks for this review! :tiphat:

This book sounds like it would be an interesting and fun read. I was impressed that you said it kept you on the edge of your seat. Books for middle school aged kids doesn't always have that same effect on adults. I look forward to giving it a read!

The cover is fun. This seems like a good adventure book for younger audiences. Great job on the review.

Dr. Barnes was kidnapped by evil people who want him to find a way to cross over to another dimension. His son Timmy has to rescue him with the help of friends. But Timmy has no friends; he only has stuffed toys and his strange nanny, Ms. Gertrude. The sample and the review tell me all that.

I wonder how the rest of the story will go. With my free copy, I will find out. And soon!

I loved the cover of this one -- so detailed! And the review makes it sound like a fun story, with Timmy facing up to his fears and maybe facing some of his father's problems, too. I'll have to give it a closer look!

It was hard for me to figure out the audience for this book because the cover made it look darkly humorous but your review made the story seem quite frightening. I was quite surprised to see on the Amazon page that is is actually a children's book. I think this one might be a little too all over the place for me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

A very detailed review. The father-son relationship and the plot of the book sound interesting. Can't wait to find what Timmy has to go through to find his father.

Timmy had a good and true friend. I am allowed to cry. I am allowed to scream. But I'm not allowed to give up. It will all get resolved somehow. Just breath and deal.

Fighting our inner fears is always a good topic to read. However, this time I'm most curious about the cover of the book. It makes me think the book is targeted to a young audience, but it's filled with adventure and action.

Timmy sounds like a courageous young man who will fight the good fight to be reunited with his father. It sounds like an exciting and meaningful story. I like that his friends rally around him. Sounds like a good book. Nice review. Congrats on BOTD

Timmy missed his dad so much, so he decides to go look for him. He has to overcome his fears. Though normally a scared kid, the moment he starts showing a bravery, the sides of him he never knew he had became evident. So much to learn, you'll never know how strong you are if you don't take the first step. Good review.

What a fantastic book! Stuffed teddy bears as protectors and fun scientists, I’m really excited to read this. I love how creative children’s books can get.

Jimmy's journey to look for his father, in the company of his bears, must be really adventurous. This one is right up my alley.
