This is a biographical novel written into a set of essays that celebrate the author's husband. It highlights resilience, strength, hard work, and family. The book is free on Kindle Unlimited and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @eatmon_jones for the BOTD.

What better way would a loving wife celebrate her late husband than have those who knew him contribute to his biography. Linda celebrates the life and accomplishments of Earle Francis Jones in this heartwarming book. A true labour of love.

The review is nice and the sample was family oriented, but I'm not interested in this book.

Sounds like a great book with the potential to inspire many. However I'm not interested in reading a collection of essays. So I don't think this book is for me. All the same, I'd like to thank you for the interesting review.

What I liked the most about this book is that it is a labor of love. Linda Eatmon-Jones wrote a book to sing the praises of her husband's character and achievements.
I like that the author honors her husband's life by writing this collection of essays. It is a pity about the bad editing, though. However, I am sure readers who enjoy reading biographies will enjoy it, but I am not the target audience. Therefore, I will pass. Thank you for the review!

I agree with the author, that we need to appreciate people while they are still alive. It's very appealing that she decided to appreciate her husband.

A biography broken into essays sounds interesting. You can tell the author truly loves and admires her husband. Too bad about the editorial mistakes.

It’s so refreshing to see a book written about a person before their death they highlights his good works. Too bad though about the errors. I think I will wait for the edited copy. Thank you for the insight on this one as the sample pages were mainly acknowledgements.

It truly sounds like a labor of love, this book. I quite agree that it's important to extol loved ones while they're still alive. The author is, indeed, thoughtful. Thanks for sharing.

I like the idea behind the book Touchstone by Linda Eatmon-Jones. The idea of comparing his life to a pie and dividing into slices is interesting. However, due to a few elements, I found it hard to read. There are a few errors early in the book, and the writing is difficult to follow. I am not certain if the writing style of this author is for me. I think this may be a good book. But I know I am not going to read it. I wish that the sample provided to us jumped right into chapter 1 and 2 instead of the very beginning.

It is an admirable gesture to write a book for the one you love. Many people Earle knew wrote essays to honor him. I am not into biographies, though.

Thanks for the review, but I don't like memoirs/biographies, and this collection of essays about Earle Francis Jones will not be the exception.
