This sounds like a book I would enjoy reading. I am intrigued by how the storyline pulls together everything that you have described. Elise seems like a complex character and her travels through her past lives is a fascinating element. Thank you for expressing your passion and energy for this book into such a thoughtful and thorough review.

This sounds like a very interesting book. I do somewhat believe in reincarnation also have met people mostly children that have seem to have been here before or seem like they are way ahead of their time.

Great job on review, very informative. I will admit this is not a plot I would normally read, but I must say I am intrigued. I do like adventure and being able to see new places through the words. Also, I kind of feel like I am helpless in loving people sometimes, like Sam. So I am curious to read just how manipulative Elise is ..and how supportive Sam is. Congratulations on BOTD.

It sounds like this book is inspiring. Thanks for the review. All In the Head seems a psychological thriller novel with a fascinating plot. Adventurous travels to many continents are exciting! Congrats to the author for delivering a well-edited book which includes a unique and intriguing plot.

I like psycholical thrillers and usually enjoy time travel. That, paired with the fact this comes so highly recommended, has me excited. My only worry is how the past lives are done, sometimes people do it in a way that drives me crazy!

After reading your review, I could tell that you truly enjoyed the book even with its minor flaws that you wrote about. I do enjoy thrillers that involve the reader, as you put it, " dive into the depths of the human mind and psyche." I find those thrillers to be the best ones to read. I thank you for your recommendation of this book and will put it on my list of books to read next. Thank you.

Not really too interesting to know that a character has powers that help her enter the mind of others to see their thoughts. It's something that I feel is overdone or not written well. I might pass this book up, but great review.

Elise is a lady from Australia who is holding the psychic powers and can read the thinkings and inner thoughts of the different people. I like this book because I am also fond of the psychology. you have chosen a good topic for the review. Thanks for it.

I find the concept behind this book fascinating, though I'm not sure it would be to my tastes. There's too much going on here, with the multiple lives aspect and the different locations the story takes us, though this format where each section can be enjoyed as a standalone might appeal to readers of short stories. At the end of the day, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this and that it broadened your horizons.

Although I am not a believer in past lives, I do take interest in travel and the power of one's inner most thoughts. I may give this book a chance based on your impeccably written book review !

Using psychic powers to reveal people's inner thoughts and then manipulating them seems like a slippery slope to go down! Interesting that her travels may not be real and that Elise had you confused through most of the book. It's good that the other characters were portrayed well, including Elise and Sam's relationship. Clear writing and vivid descriptions sound like good attributes to the story. It's nice that the author is culture sensitive and that you found this to be adventurous. Not sure if this is for me as I'm not very interested in diving deep into the human psyche. However, I'm glad you found this "refreshing, inspiring, and horizon-broadening" and that it was well-edited. Thanks for sharing!

This book seems to be very mind opening. Elsie's story is a good one. I'm thinking about trying out that focusing on a spot thing and see if it works lol

Elise is one of those characters that bewildered me through a good deal of the book. She’s a seductress at first glance, and a character you love and hate in equal measure.
Thank you for your book review as it helped me understand what would happen next. I sampled a few pages and I greatly disliked Elise's character. I didn't understand her desire to control and manipulate and I just couldn't finish the book.
But the path I’ve chosen has always been the right one, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. :)
