I'm not fan of a self-help books. But the rapid pace might help readers. I don't think this is the book for me. But thanks for the lovely review.

This sounds like an optimistically thought-provoking book. I love finding the happy in the mundane. It's especially sweet that the author wrote this for his daughters.

Something happened today by Paul E. Kotz.

I love the book. It tackles what we encounter in our daily life. In life we need those who will encourage us. And not everyone you meet in life will have the spirit of gentility.
Am so encouraged. Thanks to the author and congrats!

This book sounds very inspirational. Something that will make you think about the greatness around us. I like that it is a fast read but something that will leave you uplifted. It’s sweet that this is written for his daughter. I will put this in my list to read.

We all need a little encouragement in life, once and again and I'm glad this book offers some uplifting stories that can be read even when you have little time. I find very valuable that these are personal experiences, they're often easier to relate than abstract concepts, at least for me.
Thanks for your enthusiastic review!

This is an inspirational self-help non-fiction book with humorous short stories that are motivational. The book is free on Kindle Unlimited and has a unique OnlineBookClub review that summarized the book perfectly. I rated it 4 out of 4 stars. Congrats @paulekotz on the BOTD.

Reading your review makes me want to download this book. I was particularly tempted when you mentioned it was written by a teacher and that it appeared to be professionally edited. As an English teacher, I have a hard time enjoying a book, no matter how engrossing it is, if grammar errors keep distracting me.

A nice collection of eighty stories drawn from personal experiences of the author in the book "Something Happened Today" by Paul E. Kotz, which tells about the things that can bring us happiness. This book inspires us to be happy by the little things that could to make us contented.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I downloaded the free sample on Amazon but I was very disappointed to know that the free sample actually does not include any of the actual reading part of the book. I was looking forward to atleast reading the sample of the book.

Am intrigued by Something Happened Today: A Collection of the Unexpected by Paul E. Kotz which was inspired by Kotz’s desire to leave something inspiring for his daughters to read the fact that it's based on a real story. I will try it out. Great review!

This sounds like a book everyone should read! I'll have to put it in my library of Want To Read Books and pull it out whenever I need a pick me up. Thanks for your wonderful review.
