Based on the review I am not sure if this is something that I would enjoy reading. I generally dislike reading self-help books. I like that this book was created because the author wanted to leave something inspiring to leave his daughters. I think that I might give the book a chance.

Slowing down and taking time to notice the little everyday miracles sound like good advice. The author's daughters will surely cherish this book of his experiences in life.

Searching for happiness in the small things is a wonderful and fulfilling concept guaranteed to keep a person grateful. Inspiring and thought provoking this sounds like an excellent book. It's going on my read list and I am eager to see what makes the writer happy so I can compare his list with mine. Congrats on BOTD

I like that he enjoys simple things in life- like the feel of the sunshine on his face or hearing a special song on the radio. And I love that he wants to pass something positive along for his daughters. Thank you for your excellent review!

Something happened today is a story in itself and an encouraging word for everyone that encounters their life from day to day. Kotz tells about his own experiences and how they play out. To put this in a book is incredible and I thank the author for sharing. His daughters will be proud to have something to read or show their friends and family. I am going to read it inspired me.

An encouragement to see the miracles of everyday is indeed what we all need sometimes. Seems like a perfect book for a blue slow day.

This collection of inspirational stories seems to reveal the author's positive outlook on life and the importance of appreciating daily little things. I especially enjoyed the fact that he shared his experiences with his students and his attempts to be a better teacher. Thanks for an interesting review!

Miracles are quite plenty if you know how to look for it. It also depends on how you define the word. So is happiness.

I'm glad there is a book like this. I like the reviewer's words "Pragmatism permeates every page of this book." :tiphat:

Sounds like a nice, easy, inspirational read! I tend to prefer longer novels to short stories, but it sounds like this one is perfect for the target audience.

The way you conveyed the content of the book without actually delivering spoilers is very impressive. I am generally not a non-fiction reader. but, I guess I could use some positivity and learn to live mine to its fullest. Thank you for the review.

Kotz’s tone is animated, appreciative, humorous and inspirational. This line from the review serves as the magnetic pull towards reading this narrative. Additionally, the assessment that Kotz’s blend of philosophical insights is realistic, persuasive, unwavering, and refreshing serves to further persuade me to read this collection of stories.
