I have to agree with you about the title, cuz I too would have ignored this book if I hadn't read your review. Other than that, the mystery arouses curiosity in the readers. For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed mysteries. So, I'll definitely read this book and thanks a lot for this interesting review.

Not much of a good looker but Harley seems to be well grounded; I think that Liz Andrews has done a great job here weaving a mystery of characters, plots and sub-plots into one interesting book. Thank you for your comprehensive review!

This is a nice and helpful review. This read is obviously interesting and laced with unexpected humour. I hope the author does justice to the whiskey distillery process, I believe that will also make for a more enlightening read,Kudos and congrats to the author on #BOTD

Notchey Creek town turns into a mysterious town where mysterious things happen, and murder takes place in strange circumstances. There is a dark secret connected with this town.
The mysterious elements of this story seem quite interesting.

"As Harley investigates the murder, memories from her own childhood begin to surface, and she unveils a dark secret connected to prominent citizens in town."
I can't help but wonder, "what could be that dark secret?"

This sounds like a fantastic read, definitely adding it to my shelves!!! I could use a cozy little small town murder mystery. I’m not sure I agree with the reviewer about the title. I think it’s good and draws me into the town as a mystery, I also liked the cover art.

I love a small town mystery! Harley also sounds like a great character, especially since I have a soft spot for nerdy and bookish protagonists. It's intriguing that so many things happen in such a short period of time leading up to the murder of the professor, and I'm curious to know how all of these peculiar events link up. Thank you for the informative review, I think you captured the tone of the novel perfectly.

Sounds like a sweet, fun (and funny) cozy mystery that will delight fans of the genre. And as someone who grew up in a small town, this seems right up my alley. I love a good mystery, and well-written characters are always nice too. Thanks for the review!
