This review made me want to read the book. As I am a fresh graduate, and still has no dream of creating a career on the corporate world but when the reviewer says, it can also help other people who wants to know about leadership, I just know that I want to read the book.

And yes, the peacock cover is really good, its meaning on the first page made me curious about what the book would offer.

Thank you for this review! I will look forward in buying the book soon :tiphat:

A self-help book that helps one to get ahead in the corporate world sounds useful for students. That the book is well- organized, and well-written, and well executed make it a worthy read. Not for me, but I am glad you found it helpful. Thank you for the review!

This is a great self-help book for finding and keeping the career that's right for you. I like that the author says to follow your heart and intuition. I also appreciate she writes that all of her ideas may not be right for all people. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review. Good job!

This sounds like something anyone in the corporate world could benefit from reading. It sounds like something students would be able to get a lot out of before starting their career. Great review!

There's a difference between a job and a career. If you're going to spend so much of your life working, you should do something you enjoy. I like that the author pulls from her personal experiences and owns up to her mistakes so that others can learn from them.

It is always great to learn from the mistakes of others and it sounds like De La Rosa is a key person to be able to provide the reader a no-nonsense approach to empower and guide them in climbing the corporate ladder

Perhaps I should consider this book or something alike someday. I've always thought of achieving a career in a linear manner, rather than the start of something new. Great review.

This book sounds very useful for young women just entering the business world. The author gives good advice from her personal experiences. Overcoming and learning from career failure, differences in gender leadership, business travel tips, and balancing family and career are all good topics that she covers in her book. I thought the facts about the peacock were interesting as well.
