I agree completely. I wish that I could eat whatever I want to and then just go to the gym and work it off. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. We have to feed our bodies healthy foods for it to perform at it's peak. I have heard of some people eating whatever they want and being so active that they can work the calories off. Essentially they never gain weight. This plan doesn't last long for them. They end up having vitamin deficiencies, stomach problems, and other issues that hinder their physical progress.

I find it easier to diet. My schedule is often fucked up and there are some other issues that don't allow me to really exercise much, so I have to rely on diet mostly. It sucks because I really like certain activities that I can't follow and I just love eating, but gotta beat it I guess

I prefer to exercise, but you have to have a balance between the two, eating healthily (not dieting) and exercise is the ideal.

I prefer to exercise than diet, but it's true that we need a balance between both. Of course, if we want to loose weight we need to cut on the sugar and all that bad stuff that hold us toward our goal, but still, a good meal to maintain enought energy to go through a great workout is important.

I don't prefer either! They both sound like forms of torture. I just eat healthily and in small portions. Lifting very heavy books is my idea of exercise. :lire4:

Exercise is great for health. You can build stamina and endurance as well as tone your muscles. But if you want to lose weight, it matters far far more what you put in your mouth.

I agree that balance is critical. Learning how to live a healthier life overall should be the goal rather than quick weight loss schemes.

Neither? But if I have to lose weight, I do prefer some exercise, plus it's more effective in the long run.

I've been trying to gain weight only all my life, lol, so I definitely prefer dieting but I think, to a certain extent, there must be a balance of both.

I think both of them are important to get yourself fit you need to eat healthy that’s what dieting actually means and by doing exercises. Only cutting off calories from your meals does help but as soon as you stop doing this you’ll start gaining again. So for me eat healthy plus do exercises for a healthy n fit body
