My favorite fantasy series I started reading on Wattpad. They were written by Roxanne Seasons. She has just recently published the first in the series "Unexpected". The whole series is fantastic. On Wattpad they post a chapter at a time, and I check every day waiting for the next chapter.

A Madness of Angels by Kate Griffin is an absolutely amazing urban fantasy story.

Harry Potter. Fantasy cant get better than that. I grew up reading Harry Potter and reread it every time I feel nostalgic.

I really am hung up on The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind (1-9, the rest are blasphemy to the originals) but if I have to choose the best...Alvin Maker series by Orson Scott Card!!! My oh MY!!! that's some good fantasy right there.

I am loving all of these book recommendations to fuel my fantasy obsession. My favorite book by far is The Name of the Wind. Though I am extremely frustrated that the next book hasn't come out yet. I've recently discovered the series and I can't imagine those that's have hadn't to wait for so much longer!

I have a soft spot for the Darren Shan books, I loved them when I was growing up and I still have all of the vampire series, I refuse to get rid of them.

I love The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. He brings together everything that I love about fantasy but uses a new perspective and writes in a way that I've never seen before. If you love fantasy but are tired of the classic "save the world" story, then you'll enjoy this book too!

There are so many fantasy books out there that it's hard to choose. I find my favorites tend to change with my mood and as my "read" shelf expands. Some good ones that i can name are The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks, Kushiel's Legacy by Jacqueline Carey and the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. I used to be a huge fan of the Sword of Truth Series but I find that I've out grown it.

The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are my favorite fantasy books, but I also love Terry Brooks. The Shannara and Landover series are two of the best, in my opinion! I'm also a big fan of middle grade fantasy, so Inkheart by Cornelia Funke, is high on my list as well.

I haven't read that many fantasy books, so I guess I'll default to Tolkien's The Hobbit. It's a very charming read with amusing characters, an exciting world, and a typical (or at least typical for modern standards) but fun adventure. If I'm allowed to include web novels and web serials, I might go for either Mother of Learning or Release that Witch.
