I'm not sure about this book. Why is it called a The Dinosaur Lawyer? I understand that it has a legal involvement about dinosaur fossils, but The Dinosaur Lawyer sounds more like if the lawyer was a dinosaur.

Aaron Baker is a lawyer; it will be interesting to read how he defends the client and safeguards his reputation as a reputable and credible lawyer. Nice review.

Sounds like an interesting and educational read! Not really fond of dinosaurs but well, learning new things is fun. Also, it seems like you are so eager to share this book. I can't imagine a courtroom echoing dinosaur arguments, but this seems intriguing. Thanks for this review!

I usually prefer lighter reads and I am not a huge fan of law, history or science. Hence, I might skip this book. I am glad that you liked reading the book though. Congrats to the author on the 4/4 rating!

What an interesting premise for a legal novel! As someone who has studied a lot of paleo subjects, I am kinda curious to see what kind of case the attorney can make for the nonexistence of dinosaurs. Even though I may remain unconvinced, I am definitely interested in his argument :D Your enthusiasm for the book is also very catching! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed this!

I love any book that makes you think critically about things we were taught to take for granted as students! Any book that challenges the norm is an interesting read for me. Between the sample reading and your review, I will have to take the time to enjoy this story!

I love books that get the reader to ask questions. It's hard to find stories that truly make one question things we take for granted to be fact. Sounds like a pretty interesting read!

This book sounds good if you are into science, math and dinosaurs. The characters sound interesting. I would read it but it is not at the top of my list.

In reading the first 5 chapters of 'The Dinasaur Lawyer' by Adam Van Susteren , Aaron, Tina, Clarendon and Roman are being introduced, so it is difficult to know much other than the fact that those chapters make me want to keep going to find out what happens. So far, I like these characters, the lack of crass language (other than from Clarendon), and the quality of the writing. The author uses a level of class in both his descriptive and conversational passages that I find refreshing, thus causing me to look for more books by him. I will definitely want to finish reading this book

I often enjoy when you get so into a book you think about it when you’re not reading it and almost wish everyone around you was reading it as well. After only reading the summary I feel like this is one of those books! Although history and science are typically not the types of topics I go for when looking for a book, this definitely seems interesting. Thought provoking indeed. Great review!!

What a wonderful review! This really makes me want to start reading this book right away. It has an amazing premise - the question of whether dinasaurs really existed or whether they were an enormous fraud (pun intended). I know I would enjoy the courtroom drama, and I think I would enjoy the science, as long as it didn’t get too bogged down in detail. I’m very intrigued & can’t wait to start reading!

The courtroom scenes with Aaron Baker defending Roman Aristov to prove his claims that his brother's fossils are fake and to prove the non-existence of dinosaurs includes paleontology, physics, math, and probabilities. This should make the readers think about the things we assume to be correct because of "scientific evidence." This topic would make for a good debate.

Thank you for the review. I'm not a big fan of legal thrillers, so I think I'll pass from this book. Even so, the plot around the questioning of the dinosaurs' existence definitely sounds like something fresh for this genre. Surely, lovers of court drama will have something new to enjoy.
