What is the last movie you saw, and rating?

My husband and I just went to see the last "How to Train Your Dragon" movie in theaters and it was a solid 4/4 rating!

The last movie I saw was Christopher Robin and I would give it 5 stars! I thought it was incredibly well done and loved the reminder for people to not lose the wonder and joy of their childhood.

I happened upon the documentary "The Dog" a couple days past. It is a rather unusual, albeit interesting, piece recounting the events in the life of John Wojtowicz - the infamous bank robber upon which the move "Dog Day Afternoon" was based. While it is compelling, it is a bit graphic in language and adult content.

'Fighting With My Family'. I'd give it 4 out of 4 stars. If it was simply a piece of fiction, I'd probably have thought it was just okay. The fact that it was based on a true story makes it into something different. It's genuinely funny and it's very moving at the same time. Go see!

Last movie I watched was The boy who harnessed the wind. Great film. There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about it. I'd give it a 9/10 - maybe even a solid 10.

I watched Slenderman because I was in the creepypasta fandom a few years ago, so I gave it a chance even though a friend already told me that it was not a good movie. I agree. I really disliked it, I would give it a 1/4. Some of the jumpscares were not fitting, the overall movie was weird and the dialogue also was somewhat strange sometimes. Overall not a movie I would recommend, maybe as a trash movie but then you would be better off watching Sharknado.

I last watched an English movie about two months ago...The Nun. Currently, I started to watch Japanese and Chinese movies.

The original Japanese version of Gojira (Godzilla) from 1954. Very much different from the 1956 butchered American adaptation of Godzilla with Raymond Burr. They treat it like a metaphor of nuclear war, its a very serious and somewhat dark and depressing film with the gritty low angle camera work and the awesome soundtrack score by Akira Ifukube. The FX are somewhat crude, but Japan was still suffering from shortages of rubber, things like that from the war but they did a damn good job with what they had, some consider it one of the best films to come out of Japan. The name Gojira is a combination of the Japanese words gorilla and whale. The story is that there was this big tough guy working at the studio whose nickname was Gojira and thats where they got the name from. Godzilla name was an American invention. This one gets a solid 10.

A note of interest. When the 1998 American version of Godzilla (or Phonyzilla as some call it) with Matthew Broderick came out Toho the studio that made the Godzilla films was so disappointed with it they officially renamed it Zilla.

I saw Bohemian Rhapsody. All the great Queen music, of course, plus interesting and funny behind the scenes looks at the life of a musician. The Live Aid sequence is an amazing recreation of the real event. Rami Malek becomes Freddie Mercury in a deep and emotional performance. Definitely worth the time.

That Sabrina you saw couldnt have been the 1950's version with Humphrey Bogart for it was a great classic film. Was it a remake? If it was Im not surprised you didnt like it, remakes are usually total garbage.
