I can see that the book has an ideal mix of humour and darkness that can often lead to a book seeming 'cold hearted' but from the review it looks as if the book will be an interesting read

This is a non-fiction book that highlights organized crime and the author's belief in an 11th commandment. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and a well-written and informative OnlineBookClub review. I hope I get to read this book. Congrats @trucker_dr on the BOTD.

This sounds like something I would definitely read though I am curious as to whehther the author has been writing all his life or whether it's his first book (you mentioned he's 87). I'm now also curious to know what this eleventh commandment is and I don't think I'll stop until I read the book!

The author certainly seems to have led an interesting life, and it sounds like he has used those experiences to write a book worthy of reading. I love novels that have humor in them. It helps to lighten the mood. Great review!

The Eleventh Commandment by Dr David Trucker was wonderfully reviewed by jgideon. It was a simple, straightforward text that brought alive the events in the book with a few words. It also gave me a much more positive impression about the book and its author.

If it weren't for this review I would probably pass this book, but now I think I'll give it a chance. Thanks for an amazing review!

This is such an interesting story. An old surgeon who's had ties with the underworld and is also an undercover cop???.... Wow!! I'm intrigued.. definitely adding this to my shelves.
Thanks for the review, all the best.

Obviously, it is clear from the examples of events the author has given that what he meant to say is justice in the name of the eleventh commandment.

I love that the author is 87 years old. And the scene with Elizabeth Taylor is definitely "rib-cracking" worthy. Thank you for your review!

It seems like the author has led a very interesting life and I believe we can learn a lot from people like him that take the time to share their experiences. I do wonder what those three words were and I guess I'll have to finish the book to know what the eleventh commandment stands for.
Thank you for your enthusiastic review!

It's so cool to read a book from someone's own first hand experience, even if the book is embellished a bit. Great review.

From the review ,the 11th commandment itself and the circumstances from which it rose have piqued my curiosity. It got me thinking ,what kind of trouble did this principle land him in and if it was really of any practical application. To me it sounds so convenient in shirking responsibility and avoid guilt for any harm brought to others. Thanks for the review.

To know what is the eleventh commandment mentioned by the author, I will have to read the book. It seems very interesting but I'm not sure whether I will enjoy the scenes of violence.
