From the sample of "For the Love of God" by William Ruffing is indeed a book worth reading whatever your beliefs. It is thought provoking and it does bring to the fore the age old question of who we are, what is our purpose here and our relationship with our maker. The use of pertinent anecdotes and scriptures have elucidated the concepts he wished to convey and has the potential to make the reader want to delve further into the readings.

By this everyone should accept the fact that there is a God and the word is God. Also, one of the ways God reveal Himself is through the Bible.

"For the Love Of God" by William K. Ruffing compiled scripture verses and stories to explain about God the Father and Jesus His Son. There is a message for the readers in the form of nonbelievers, atheist and followers of Jesus Christ. The Psalmist reminded us "Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord" (Psalm 107:43).

Having a book that explores the existence of God sounds like an interesting piece of nonfiction for those a fan of the genre. It's good to know that you found the writing to be easy-to-understand, so the layman can comprehend its content. You couldn't put it down? That's also great to hear! I'm not really looking for answers or guidance about God right now, but it's good to know that this book explores just that. I like when authors use evidence from what they talk about in their books, so it's nice to know that this author does in this text. Having a well-written and engaging text does make a big difference in enjoying what you are reading. Glad you enjoyed this one so immensely and thank you for sharing!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting book about God, God's existence and essence. If you like religious books this is worth a second look. Well done.

I'm sorry, I'm not an avid reader when it comes to biblical books no matter how compelling they may be. I'm sure readers who are interested in this genre may find it intriguing. Thank you for your review!

Nonfiction and the spirituality/religious genres are not for me, but I can see this one being a great book for readers interested in studying the Bible, if they have questions about God, or are in general looking for deeper understanding of their religion. I'm glad to hear you couldn't put this one down, I would not have expected it from the cover or description. Great review!

I enjoyed the depth the author used in his book. I liked the illustrations and he made many good points. I'm saving up for the book...I dove in hook, line sinker and all! I recommend this book to everyone... especially those that are seeking knowledge about God. This author has a sweet way of helping the reader to investigate and grow! I also liked that he requested the reader to read his book with an open mind then come to their own conclusions. Also this is a top rated book in my opinion...the highest an author can receive through the book club.

I am not speaking as a nonbeliever. Though I am not sure that there can be an actual non-fiction book to be able to answer those questions. I believe that all of those answers are all based upon one's belief or perspective of what and who God is to them.

A Christian non-fiction taking about God and faith sounds interesting. The use of simple language will make this easy for readers to understand. Thanks for the review!
