I'm intrigued by the dark web because it sounds so sinister and clandestine. As your review makes clear though, it contains grim things above all. I've read one of this author's books and enjoyed the mystery as well as the Belfast setting. I do remember finding the violence of the murder a bit gruesome though; it sounds as if this book is similar in that regard.
