I really enjoyed reading such a comprehensive review on this collection of poems. What especially struck me was when you said "Even if I enjoyed reading most of the poems, there were a few instances when the lyrical voice became too syrupy and sentimental or when there was such a contradictory display of feelings that I felt lost and confused."
I feel like in that sentence there, you almost summed up how it feels to be in love. Sometimes syrupy sweet, other times frustrating, occasionally confusing... the list goes on. Knowing that the poems made you feel this way reading them, makes it seem like the book mimics what it really feels like to be falling in and out of love.

I like the depth of your review and the way that you provided critical analysis to each section. I had a little issue following the themes of the different sections because sometimes it felt as if the author went from one extreme to another. I think that your suggestion of having more poems to bridge that gap would have been helpful.

Sounds like this is something you would have to sit down and really think about, I dont think it's for me. Nice review though.

Thank you for a very interesting review of this book! I personally don't care that much for poetry but you did a good job of breaking down the poems in the book so others could understand the meaning. Had I been attempting to read and review it I am afraid I would have been hopelessly lost! I think I will pass on this one!

I always find it amazing how our strong emotions can be translated into beautiful prose. I write poems occasionally and my emotions serve as my fuel in writing them. Love is a strong and complex emotion. I feel like I could understand a bit of what the author wanted to convey in this collection of poems. Thank you for your insightful review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting collection of poems, specifically related to love and relationships. Well done.

The review was interesting for me to follow, but it was also confusing for me to get the central message to author wants to disseminate to readers. I know the poems tackle the controversial thoughts going on in the mind of a young lady, but it is uncertain that I would love the collection of poems.

I’m not sure this one is for me. It is skillfully written and definitely deserving of BOTD but personally I’m not much for the obsessive nature of the woman the poems are about. Great review though!

I love poems but I have difficulty trying to interpret the meanings. I must recognize that you have done a good job breaking this down.

While I enjoy the genre, and the elements you talk about in your review, such as the free-style, the prose structure, the depth and different meanings, I'm not sure I'd enjoy the subject matter of the poetry.

Poetry is not my profound point to connect with, but I'm hoping that soon enough I'll break the blockage and just dive in. I love the topic that Pierre touch it in this collection, so I'll add it to my bookshelf for when the time comes. Thank you for your influenceable review!

This sounds like an interesting compilation of poems. I love the title and that the poems are arranged in prose form. Thanks for the detailed review!
