Yeah, that's all stuff I already know....I grew up with a lot of it. Got anything a little more obscure? I really like Billy Murray, Ada Jones, Django, Jelly Roll, Uncle Dave Macon, Skip James, Frank Stokes...kg211970 wrote:under yahoo, type 20's & 30's music , there's a lot of bands that are amazing, mostly Jazz, and waltz music... but still a lot of good ones

Light Crust Doughboys? Spade Cooley? Sounds like just the stuff I've been looking for!Bighuey wrote:Ive got a lot of those old songs Bix Beiderbecke, Eddie Lang, Eddie Condon, New Orleans Rhythm Kings, Original Dixieland Jass Band all kinds of blues, jazz, rockabilly, 50's and 60's rock and country. Bob Wills, Eddie Dean, Light Crust Doughboys, all kinds of obscure forgotton stuff. I bought a CD the other day by Spade Cooley. Havent heard him in years.

Spade Cooley did western swing. His biggest hit was Shame On You. He wrote that song Blackland Farmer that was popular in the 60's when he was in prison.Tralala wrote:Light Crust Doughboys?
