I am not really a fan of historical fiction ,but this book deals with an engaging discourse -the moral of war.The poor have nothing to gain from war and yet they die in numbers while the rich actually invest in war,so ridiculous.Thanks for such a thorough review.

Daffodils, in general, are symbolic of hope. I don't want to say too much more though. If you do end up reading it'll make a lot more sense. I was also confused by the title at first but it does make sense by the end.

A historical fiction book that takes place during War World I and revolving around a woman trying to find her niche sounds intriguing. Exploring themes such as grief, love, and forgiveness indeed enriches the tale. Realistic details is another plus. Too bad about the lack of editing. Thank you for the review!

This is a brilliant educational and emotional book that explores things like war, societal constraints, freedom, and love. I like that the book was placed temporarily available on Amazon Kindle. Excellent review as always.
