Thanks for commenting!chiefsimplex wrote: ↑13 Apr 2019, 15:08 I am not really a fan of historical fiction ,but this book deals with an engaging discourse -the moral of war.The poor have nothing to gain from war and yet they die in numbers while the rich actually invest in war,so ridiculous. Thanks for such a thorough review.

Daffodils, in general, are symbolic of hope. I don't want to say too much more though. If you do end up reading it'll make a lot more sense. I was also confused by the title at first but it does make sense by the end.

I hope you get around to reading it!kandscreeley wrote: ↑13 Apr 2019, 18:04 Despite the errors, the plot of this book sounds interesting to me. I wonder what Katy and Jem face. You've intrigued me; I'll put this on my list.

It has a lot of depth to it. Thanks for commenting!Stephanie Elizabeth wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019, 19:43 Well-written review! This book sounds incredibly emotional. It also seems like it would be a great book for anyone trying to find themselves, as the main character is doing a lot of soul-searching.
