I enjoy mystery and suspense. Although I would normally want to read about a serial killer this book intrigued me. I’m curious to see how the story progresses after reading the sample. Thanks

Reading the 'Official Review: Almost Mortal by Christopher Leibig' the reader gathers that the book is a straightforward detective story. The most important part of the theme about faith in God has been pinpointed. The book seems to be strictly examined by the reviewer.

Although the review recounts this book as a good mystery, some of the details make it sound a bit cloudy in areas. Not sure I would like it. Thanks for the detailed review!

The two stories written in different styles would make it a unique part of the book. It is good that the mystery could not be figured out until the end, but it is too bad that the conclusion may not be satisfying. In all, it sounds like it is a book worth reading.

Sounds like a very interesting read. I kind of pictured it as a type of story you’d see on Investigation Discovery or a Criminal Minds episode. It’s good to have a great plot but without forgetting to polish the characters. I enjoyed reading about this book.

Great review, thanks for sharing!

Two totally different stories, related in a crime mystery adventure sounds captivating. The opposite perspective which Sam and the mysterious character, shows is magnetized. Thank you for your review!

I liked the sample of this book. The character of Sam Young is relatable, and the plot seems to be slow paced yet very intriguing. Thanks for the amazing review.

This sounds interesting. I like stories where the POV switches and the story is still able to retain its wonder and doesn't diverge.

Thanks for the review.

The book Almost Mortal had me on the edge of my seat. You have a murderer to catch, a love interest and all of the characters have a past. I love a good mystery that keeps you begging for more. This book did not disappoint.

An interesting book, I would wish to know how the book ended. How Sam worked out on the deputy's son case. What his mother's friend really wanted.
Easy simple languayis also very encouraging.
Looking forward to reading the whole book.

This novel in the Crime genre seems engaging due to the Rosslyn Ripper case that incriminates the investigator (Sam) himself. I would like to see how he entangles himself from the intricacies of the case. Thanks for a wonderful review.

I always find it interesting when the main characters find parallels between themselves and whoever their antagonist is. It's unfortunate about the lack of suspense, given the genre, and that the ending didn't meet your expectations, but X's story sounds very compelling. I might have to give this book a try when I'm not too busy. Thank you for the helpful review.

Almost Mortal by Christopher Leibig: This murder/crime mystery plot reveals the well developed characters of two stories of public defender Sam Young and serial killer Rosslyn Ripper through the eyes of Father Andrada and Camille Paridisi a hot nun. "Strange days indeed." Detailed review. Congrats on BOTD. :tiphat:

I feel intrigued by the plot of the story which revolves around a mysterious serial killer who might have confided in a churchman. I think to give it a try. Thank you for the review!
