Wow! This work should be embraced by many people in the arena of business or economics and would appreciate the extensive job done by the author. The work life of the author was inspiring for me to follow nonstop, as he started working for a living at the age of fourteen years. There should be more principles and good interpersonal habits included to boost the productivity of directors who welcome this book.

"Managing With Respect" by James P DuBreuil is a must-have book on my shelf. Respect definitely has a lot to do in the workplace. As an employee, one can get accustomed to disrespect and insults when respect has been thrown out the window on the first day. Great Review!

Managing can be challanging sometimes. This book provides stories and examples for a person who wants to be a manager while still receiving respect. It's not in my area of interest.

Thanks for the acurate review. This book is basically a modified and more elaborate version of Abraham Maslow's hirachy of needs combined with McGregor's theory X and y (or specifically theory y) which all together talks about employee's motivation. As a management student,i find the book very interesting and in line with already learnt concepts.

I love the narration of this book. I have once worked for a very arrogant and disrespectful boss before. I guess it's not every boss that understands that management with respect is a key and a very fundamental premise of a great company. Thank you for providing this enlightening review.

I like how the author applied The Golden Rule to business management. Overseers of large corporations could benefit from this guidebook. Thank you for your extremely well written review!

An interesting philosophy for managing the work-force in an organization is given in the book "Managing With Respect" by James P DuBreuil. The book sheds light on the importance of the respect that is given to the employees can make them work with more productivity.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Rosemary, what a well thought out review. This isn’t the type of book I would pick to read for myself but, as I wanted to read a few pages I found myself continuing to read it. Although most things are like oh yeah so that’s common sense. I have to remember not everybody is common sense I really liked your review and the positive spin you put on a subject that is normally not so interesting. Thanks for the review Rosemary it was a good one. :techie-studyingbrown:

Respect for the uniqueness and differences is something that should be trending in the workplace. It's time managers become more focused on the human aspect of the work. Setting expectations is something that is often missing in organizations. Employees are expected to catch up without being told what the manager really wants and that is a problem in itself. Managers have big shoes to fill. That sounds like other pairs of shoes they have to take into account, but productivity is only better when people are given first place in the seat. This is a book I would gladly read and learn from. I wonder how the model has been successfully used and in what industry it works better. Thanks for sharing.
