David Selcer does not have a nut shell, he has an explosion. He began Lincoln's Hat and the tea movements anger in innocence, passion, and a young white man's opportunity to overcome one of the most blazing times in US history. From the barn and new naked love to Mid town New York City overnight. He was political, educated, focused, and driven against the fast and furious decisions of our sixteenth and most humble president Abraham Lincoln. Who was doing everything that needed to be done except for an ordinary farm boy with a half black child and love who's father was freed not born that way. Of everything he started with he enlisted the Know Nothing plight for the sake of his sorrowful passion and his son. In the beginning he could always split in on gaining yardage into his life but the rising rage and the unaccountability of all that at least the government is supposed to do dropped everything on his door step except his love and his son. Selcer is correct to mother this unseen tradjedy in history while most of the other African American freedom fights are untold, this Love before Slavery is a powerful spirit envisioned by Selcer. Congratulations on a masterpiece!

While I'm intrigued by the plot, I don't usually read historical fiction, so I'll pass on this one. Great review!

It sounds like the plot of this novel is inspired by actual events of the American civil war. This novel contains a fictional story about a journalist who hates Lincoln. I recommend this novel to lovers of historical fiction. Thanks for the review.

While I do enjoy reading character-driven books, I am not currently into historical fiction. So, I think I will have to pass on this one. However, Pomeroy's character and his conflicting nature seem to be really interesting.

This story about President Lincoln and this guy who doesn't like him sounds like a good book. I like historical fiction, so I think I would like it. The reviewer did a good job.

I've never tried character-driven historical fiction novel, this will be the first one. Also, I'd love to read about the American history. I appreciate your incredible review.

I've seen plenty on the assassination of Lincoln, but aside from a few children's books trying to make the subject more interesting for them, I can't think of any fictionalized accounts that I have seen. I don't know that I'll read, but it sounds interesting enough to at least give it a good look. Thanks for the informative review!

'Official Review: Lincoln's Hat and the TEA Movement's Anger by David Selcer' well covers the issues raised by the book. The way it goes into the details of the book is pacifying. I would love to extend the boundaries of my knowledge reading about politics! The expression is elegant as well as tough!

Interesting! I have my fair share of civil war experiences: seen it, grew up with it. It's an unknown history to me about the tea party's movement. Thank you for your review!

I must admit that I am not generally a fan of historical books whether fiction or non-fiction, but this one has my interest. I'm adding this one to my reading list.

Thanks for the in-depth review of Lincoln's Hat and the TEA Movement's Anger!!! It story around President Abraham Lincoln's political career & his assassination plot. The author has made an outstanding effort on presenting the life of the people in that era. I'm not a big fan of history though but I will definitely consider reading this one.

Pomeroy, the lead character, is unhealthily obsessed with President Lincoln. He also professes that he is against slavery, but he wants white people to continue living the life of privilege enabled by slave labor.
