A nice compilation of several short stories that depict different facets of authors life in his book "Tales from the Riverside" by Larry Landgraf. Each story depicts different aspects like his pastimes, diet, marriage, and occupation. Hope reading this could be quite entertaining.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Several short stories compiled to show life in a Texas swamp. I can imagine that this would be very different from life as I know it. Sounds like an interesting memoir. Thanks for the review!

The author's life in the swamp must have been really difficult and at the same time very interesting and exciting. I also like that the stories in the book are short and I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate this. It will be intersting to find out about his life and his pasttime in the swamp as I personally cannot imagine my life away from all modern conveniences nowadays. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Intriguing concept, almost fictional in its appearing. Wich is good considering I am not awfully fond of non-fiction as genre. As it is there is really great chances I decide to read this book))

Sounds like the author has done a good job with the compilation of these short stories. I am going to give this one a perusal.

I'm not really a fan of swamp stories. I'm however glad that the book contains some pictures to buttress some of the author's point. I'm also glad that it was an enjoyable read for you. Great review I must confess

Sounds like an interesting collection of stories about living in swampland. I wonder if the author has dealt with any scary reptiles like large snakes. I think I'll pick the book up for an easy read.

This sounds like an interesting read. Life in a swamp doesn’t sound like the life for me. I’m not big on snakes. Farm life I could handle. Thank you for this review, I’ll have to check this book out.

Non-fiction books really aren't my favorite so I don't think I will be reading this one. I do appreciate how the author has published his work using short stories over the entirety of his life. We can learn so many lessons from others if we give them the time to teach us if we take a minute to listen.
I am sure that there are some wise gems in this book, but adventure and fiction are where my heart lies.
Thank you to the author for the free sample, and good luck!
