After reading this review, I can tell this is not a book I would want to read. While it appears to be jam packed with stories of adventures, life lessons, and swamp creatures, I would file this non-fiction under the horror section! Swamp life sounds too rough for modern ladies. I'm glad the reviewer enjoyed this book and rated the author accordingly with a 4 out of 4 stars.

Tales from the Riverside by Larry Landgraf is an anthology of 36 #NonFiction #ShortStories about the author's #Biography, #Adventure, and #Struggle with #Nature in a Texas swamp.

It is well edited and with photos, so I would read this book.

Thanks for the review.

I read some of, "Tales from the Riverside", by Larry Landgraf. In this book Larry writes about his, his wife's, his family's and his friends adventures and experiences in the Texas swamps. They consist of a variety of short stories based of things from Hurricane Harvey poison ivy. It is very well written and is descriptive. It is informative as well. I give this book 4*'s.

The book won't be a bad book to read for the fact that it sheds more lights about the swamp life....Including pictures to make readers comprehend better is such a good idea....I trust this can't be disappointing at all....Typographical error-free....Enjoy as you go on a journey to Texas swamp.

L Therese's review of Tales from the Riverside

L Therese's review left me wanting to find out what happened when the hurricane hit I also became very curious and interested in life in a Texas swzamp. I do agree with L Therese in the the use of "lol"would be somewhat off putting. Overall a good review that piques my interest in reading this book.

The author clearly has a lot of knowledge about swamp life, which he conveys in a very accessible way. I like the idea of many short tales describing the author's life and experiences. The writing is too casual for my taste, so I'll probably skip reading this one. However, I could picture these stories being passed down orally around a campfire, at family gatherings, and the like. Thanks for the review!

The concept for the book sounds quite interesting: we do not see many authors using the short story medium. Some persons may also find it intriguing to learn about an author's life. This may be a worthwhile read.

The book Tales from The Riverside by Mr. Larry Landgraf intrigues me a lot. Since I live in a tropical country as much as I wanted to say I know a swamp I only have great deal of picture in my mind well described by Mr. Landgarf. I find it amazing how he lives through the dangers but finds fullfilment in it. With the short stories I read I feel how a person can be so much attached to a place and things he had. If you're a sentimental kind of person this book will never fail you. Great deal of a book here.

I read the sample of this book and I really like the use of pictures and the short story format. I generally prefer more formal writing, but sometimes it is good to read a good old fireside chat kind of book. Thank you for the great review. I will try not to let the lols bother me.
