The author set up a relatable situation. The story development is intriguing and Amanda's actions and thoughts lead the reader to sympathize with her situation. The book is YA fiction, but it is inspiring for readers of every age. Thanks for much for commenting!

This sounds like a realistic and uplifting read. I hope the kids end up giving the mom a chance, if she is really ready to be there for them. Thanks for your thoughts on this one.
