I like the novel's perspective from a young person's mind. Dealing with such important matters as why bad things happen to good people or forgiveness, especially to a person who wronged you in the past. Thanks for the wonderful review.

I think that's a prevailing question among many religious people. Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people? It's a journey in itself, coming to terms with this question.

Great review!

I'm glad the author didn't take the opportunity to be evangelical. A subtle push is sometimes just as strong as a shove.

Thanks for your review!

I think Samantha is relatable, people who go thrrough rough times often question God. Too bad there are a lot of errors in this book.

While not a book that interests me personally, it seems like many would find valuable life lessons within its pages. Thanks for your great review :)

It sounds like this would be a great inspirational book for a teen going through a tough time who might be interested in turning to or more deeply exploring their faith. The themes of loss, abandonment, and forgiveness are ones that many people can relate to. Great review!
