It fascinates me how we all perceive what the author says differently, my favourite book could be a book that someone else did not like reading much. I feel like I did not like the level of detail in this book even though I tried to read a few chapters. I guess it was too dark for me but I'm glad so many people enjoyed reading it. From the sample I read the book resembles the series The Maze Runner. For me, these books make me grateful that we don’t live in a world like that. The sample definitely made me want to finish the book and your review seals the deal that it would definitely be worth it!

This one is right up my alley. I love sci-fi, especially dystopian and post-apocalyptic. This seems to solidly fit both. I pretty much knew I was going to read this one as soon as I saw the author. I've read other books by Tara Basi and already know that I love her work. Great review!
