Wow. I'm left a bit speechless by this one. It's definitely not a book for me; I'm wondering if anyone would truly enjoy it. It sounds quite morbid, and I have a feeling I know what excremental kinetics entails (but I will NOT be searching it). Thanks, but this is a hard pass for me.

I can only recommend this book (in its current form) to readers exceptionally fond of satire and not offended by consistent coarse language, grotesque and graphic descriptions and occasional racial slurs.
Yikes! I will pass on this one, but thank you for such a thorough review!

I like it when satire is unabashed, but I begin to dislike it when it begins to seem like all of its profanity is being done for a "shock factor." Did you get that feeling from the book, Bluebird03? Thank you for this review, it was thorough and very even-handed.

This sounds like an interesting book, but the grotesque satire would not appeal to me. Thanks for a wonderful review!

This one doesn't sound like a book to sit back and enjoy. I'm not the biggest fan of course language and grotesqueness (is that a word??) for the sake of it. If it adds value to the story, then maybe, but this one sounds like it was just because.
I really enjoyed your review - thanks so much!

Excremental kinetics?? Umm...no...just. no. I tend to enjoy books with slightly dark themes but it sounds like Mopsa takes "dark" to a whole new level...downwards. I think I'll be giving this one a hard pass. Thanks for the rev...I mean, warning.

Yes, it was very grotesque, and not at all what I had expected from reading the complete description. Thank you,. Cotwani, for stopping by and for sharing your thoughts! :)

Yes, I'm afraid that the satire I was expecting crossed over quickly into the bizarre and grotesque. Thank you, unamilagra, for stopping in and commenting! :)

The editing was definitely the book's saving grace for me. I just could not get past the language and the grotesque factor. Thank you so much for reading my review and for your comments, gen_g! :)
