Planet Treasure Guardians Series by S.V. Bodle

Post by jon_hunter »

I have just finished reading this great new series by S.V.Bodle and I thought it was fantastic! Has anyone else read this series?
It includes Battle for the Savant Sceptre, Hunt for the Emberteller and Secret of the Stolen Scripts so far with two other proposed books to complete the series. :D

I bought my daughter the books
She loved it so much she begged me to buy the other two. She said that each book was better than the last. We went to Fiji for a week's holiday and she read book two and three the whole time - I couldn't get her leave the hotel pool she loved the books so much. I would definitely recommend them to parents for 10 to 18, however I read them myself and I was throughly captivated. I hope they make the books into a movie series. They could be the next big thing now that Harry Potter series has finished at the box office.

On the back cover when this book promised action, it was not kidding!!! I think it has more plot happening in one book than Harry Potter had in the first three combined.
In this book, there are no adults to trust with the magic/secrets, leaving the kids all on their own to figure out the riddles as well as the logistics of each adventure. This will appeal not only to the resourcefulness in kids but also to the alienation they sometimes feel in a world ruled by adults.

Its good to know that there are good kids novels available and Silver bound Publishing looks to be onto a winner with the Planet Treasure Guardians series. Too many stories these days in the 10 year old to 16 year old bracket have too heavy emotions beyond their maturity level or include too much school gossip politics. You just want them to read exciting, fantasy, adventure novels without all the adult issues that they are not emotionally equipped for. I have since read them (I am in my late 30''s) and was extremely impressed. The novels are full of action and adventure and very descriptive. S.V. Bodle has done well to create such an action-packed story which feels so real. You'll be blown away by the adventures the characters have and be left wanting more. One of my friends (in her late 50's) said she kept meaning to put the book down yet she still had the light on at one o'clock in the morning on week nights! Yes, she was very tired at work that week but said it was well worth it!

S.V.Bodle recently visited our school and spoke to over 1450 students. I would highly recommend the books to parents, teachers, students, teenagers and young adults! great kids novels ec pn has the Battle For The Savant Sceptre, Hunt For The Emberteller, and Secret Of The Stolen Scripts available and other books in the Planet Treasure Guardian series are due for release this year. For magic, adventure, acton and fantasy the fast paced novels are an extremely exciting read and keep you wanting more. I can wait for the next addition to the series!!
