Tales of Davy Jones by Carl Gundestrup is a perfect combination of #Fantasy, #Action, and #Adventure for #YA. It follows the adventures of Garrett Spencer (a boy with one good leg) and his legendary friend in their quest for hidden pirate treasure and their battle against the Sea Dragons.

This book is amazing based on your review. Thank you.

Looks like Garett Spencer might impress us all. The description of the villain is unheard though. Looks promising! Thanks for the review.

Interesting how this book is imaginative. I can relate to having many adventures through books. I also like how the character has some determination and gets around his disability. Great review!

As someone that grew up with a physical disability, I think that this would be a great book to inspire others.

I like the encouragement of this book. A thirteen-year-old boy who doesn't let his disability take control of his life. An adventure on Shiloh's Island among mystical creature sounds exciting. Thank you for your review!

Based on the review I am definitely going to check out this fantasy adventure. I like that there are mythical creatures/monsters and pirates. I also like how Garrett has a disability that he doesn't prevent him from accomplishing his goals and the perseverance/determination of his character. I can relate to his love for reading and adventure. I can't wait to read this book.

Nowadays, few books have great villains; I'm glad that this one has it. The sentimentality though, I might agree with you, that it would be also too kushy for me. However, this sounds like a great read. Thanks for this review!

The entire series seems like a great addition to any reading list of fans of adventure and fantasy books. The Jones family's legacy gives birth to wonderful tales full of valuable lessons. Garrett will be an example for children and preteens. Thanks for a nice review!

Thanks for this amazing review. It seems like an imaginative fantasy book more suitable for younger ages. I like the portrayal of the protagonist. However, it doesn't entice me much, so I'll probably pass.

I love adventure stories and fantasy is a favorite genre. I can see this being a great book for my grandchildren. This is exactly the type of adventure they would like. I haven't even made it to the good part of the story yet. I have read the sample and I a already intrigued. I will be reading this one. Thank you for the wonderful review.
