this story is a heart touching one, that got me wondering and wanting to know if Spencer is ever going to get out victorious from the deadly mercenaries radar he has gotten himself in.

I can never resist good fantasy, no matter what the intended age group is. This book sounds a bit like a fantasy take on the children's classic Treasure Island, and the cover reminds me a lot of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, which I absolutely love. Hopefully all of these elements together will prove to ge an engaging read. Thank you for the helpful review.

The first few pages of the book were amazing. I kept turning the pages to find out what would happen next. I find it difficult to believe that this is fiction.
But the path I’ve chosen has always been the right one, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. :)

I have only read the sample but I may well buy it now, I am intrigued already!

It’s not just the mystery of the objects but a few deeper lines in his Uncle’s letter that inspired me, “I have come to believe that we were all one big family before we were even born to this earth”.

Everything else is just a distraction...

The title already tells me that there'll be pirates involved in the story. It will be interesting to follow Garrett on his adventures and get inspired by his determination. Nice review.

Well now, it a ride into a pirate's mind. These are some of the best narratives I like to read; the ones that takes you to the purpose behind the logical thinking. Only intelligent writers can pull this off. Nice review.

"Tales of Davy Jones" is a fantasy book by Carl Gundestrup, set in the 13-year-old world of Garrett Spencer. He discovers a map of the Gypsy Moth and is targeted by the mercenary "The Black Ghost." The book showcases Garrett's perseverance, determination, and love for reading, but may be too sentimental for some readers.
