I recently read this book, and "literary web" is the perfect phrase to describe it. I often found myself wondering how the author got the idea for the book. How did he decide all the individual stories fit together. I found it slow to start, but once things started to decline for McDowell things really got interesting. Great review!

This author does have a knack for drawing you into the story. This book also leads the reader to reflect on values and life's purpose. Thanks for an interesting review.

The dialogue in McDowell is realistic and adds depth to the characters.
