Best sport movie you had ever watch?

Post by inspiredclancy »

I'm a huge fan of sport movies. Not just sport movies but sports also. There's a lot to pick when it comes to question like this.
But my all time favourite is "A shot at glory"
one of the best sport movies one could ever watch.
"Any given sunday" is another thrilling sport movie. But it falls on the rank of 2 at my own list.

Karate Kid and Rocky are cool too. These movies remind me of my childhood, when I used to pretend that I was a superhero (Wonder Woman most of the time) and ran around outside with my friends.
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

Hmm. It's hard to pick one but I really liked Coach Carter.

Ohhh, there are so many! Obviously Rocky is a favorite, Chariots of Fire, Cinderella Man, Invictus, We Are Marshall, Seabiscuit!!

On the slightly cheesier side, I love Bend It Like Beckham, The Longest Yard, The Mighty Ducks, The Replacements and Wimbledon.

I liked Facing the Giants and Field of Dreams. Both of these can be enjoyed by people who don't like sports also. Field of Dreams was just a classic. It can be watched over and over, and never gets old.

Facing the Giants is a very motivating piece. It teaches athletes and others to push as hard as you can and to never give up no matter how hard things get.

I would say Fast and Furious for quite specific reasons listed below:
1. The first movie it popped in my head when I read the question and the words "sport movie"
2. I am trying to recall other sport movies I watched but there is nothing besides cheerleading movies and I don't even know if cheerleading is considered a sport.
3. Paul Walker

Best sport movie that I’ve ever seen would have to be South Paw. The change of events throughout the movie completely blew my mind. I don’t normally get emotional during movies but I did tear up during this one 😂 a must see!

I loved "Remember the Titans" when it first came out. I loved all the characters and how they came together. I also love "Here Comes the Boom". Kevin James is so great in that movie.

Field of Dreams

Brian’s Song was also a great movie. A real tear jerker, especially for those of us that were alive and aware of the story as it was happening.

The Lou Gehrig Story was another one that I enjoyed.
