Latest Review: The Sins of a Master Race by Matthew Tysz

We are all a part of this

Post by Debottam_55 »

And the stars will forever shine
and the moon will eternally glow
somedays full,
somedays half,
and somedays none at all.
There will be life
in the skies,
on the surface,
and inside the deepest caverns.
Some new hearts will beat
and some old ones will stop.
In some mansion,
or in an apartment,
or in some shabby hut,
two breathing bodies will meet
full of life and energy.
At some park bench,
or on the platform,
or in the corner of a footpath,
one dirty, broken body,
will barely breathe.
And in another corner
one dead child,
will for one last time
hop onto the shoulders of his father.
Some yellow leaves will give way
to fresh green ones.
Some Notre Dame will be rebuilt again
and some Sri Lanka will have
another Easter Sunday.
Some comatose patient will jump back to life
and some other will fade away
into the darkness.

What a circus!
What a game!

Poignant and to the point. Beautiful.
