What is the last book you read, and your rating?

I just finished Adib Khorram's Darius the Great Is Not Okay and gave it 3 stars on Goodreads.
The book is good and it touches on a variety of things, like, Iran, Iranian culture, depression and how it affects you and your life, and of course, friendship and bullying.
I enjoyed the book and got misty eyed (might have shed a tear or two) but the reason I didn't give it 4 or 5 stars is simply because most of the book is about a country and a culture that I'm used to and it all sounded boring and repetitive to me.

Burn Zone by Jorge P. Newberry. I rated it 4 out of 4. Its an autobiography that reads like a fiction novel. Very inspiring and great advice for young adults and teenagers.

I have recently read A Bloody Book by Chris Bowen.
I rate that book 4 out of 4 stars. It is really an awesome read. I have never ever enjoyed reading as such. Its only of 162 pages so it was very easy for me to read. I hope to read more such books from Chris Bowen .

The last book I read was "The Last Girl" by Nadia Murad. I rate the book 8/10. I didnt give it a full score simply because it was quite repetitive and drawn out in the first few chapters but I get that this helping the reader understand politics, layout of the land and culture of the Yazidis. Her recount of details was uncanny though and life changing to read her story.

Beauty and the Professor by Skye Warren. I usually love her writing style, and her stories, but this one (supposedly a modern version of the fairy tale which I didn't find the resemblance to in any way...) left me disappointed. And if usually I would give 4 out of 4 stars to her other books, this one would be only 2...

I just finished Misreading Judas by Robert Wahler. Whew! What a workout! This is the first book that I read where looking up stuff took longer than reading the book itself. The author challenges the Christian New Testament through four chapters of intricate detail - comparing line by line of ancient text and providing his interpretation. I gave it a 3/4 stars...didn't agree with his position, but it was interesting and had some valid points.

I last read my life in crime by John Kiriamiti. The book was so fascinating and it's worth being turned into a movie.

I wanted to give it 5 stars, but the last few chapters made me give it 2 (out of 5). It was very disappointing.

The last book I read, actually re-read is 'The Misery' which is a Psycho-thriller. Also, it's short and a quick read. I enjoyed it and its unpredictable nature. So I would give 4/5 stars.

The last book I read was called Stalker by Lars Kepler. By far my most favorite book, 5/5! It was intense, twisted and very hard to put down.
The only negative comment I have about it was it was originally written in Swedish, so some of the English is off and I had to go back a read things a few times, but other than that I absolutely loved it! I would recommend it to everyone!

Stargate Atlantis: Third Path by Melissa Scott & Jo Graham.

Excellent book from the SGA series. I gave it a 5 out of 5 stars. The writers did a superb job with the characters, with the dialogue, and bringing the story to a satisfying close. I will be reading it again in my next SGA marathon.
