Sounds great.
I remember once upon time collecting quotes that I thought were amazing. I enjoy them therefore, I'll probably enjoy this book too.

Providing a book that is a list containing over one-thousand individual quotes is a unique and interesting way to approach this topic!

It's a shame that the lack of professional editing had such a big impact on your reading experience. Great review!

Your review was very well-written. So often lack of good editing harms an otherwise excellent book.
I don't think that this would be the right book for me, as I am an agnostic (formerly devout Catholic) who has had several negative experiences with religion. :tiphat:

I love spiritual books, though I imagine it'd take a while for me to read so many quotes. The myriad grammatical errors would be a turn-off, as well, so I'm on the fence with this one.

I have studied many religions, and find it fascinating how people use his or her religion to soothe themselves. I grew up in a Christian household, and my mom was the preacher or minister (depending on your viewpoint I suppose). I was always the "Preacher's Kid" in school. When I was old enough to choose for myself, I did not choose the Christian religion. I would and wouldn't like to read this book all at the same time. I don't mind it being Christian based book, but if a book has too many grammatical errors it tends to be a turn-off. Granted, I am not without grammatical errors of my own, but it's hard for me to really immerse myself in a book with too many errors. I will still try to read it, and see if I'm able to see past the errors to enjoy the book. Thank you for the review.

This sounds like an interesting book of inspirational quotes. It’s unfortunate about the lack of editing, it sounds like it took away from the enjoyment of the book.

I like the honesty in this review and the way you are able to fault the book for its lack of professional editing, despite really enjoying some of its content. This is a great review and would be helpful for people on the fence about reading it.

It sounds like a great book for Christians as you said and anyone who enjoys quotes. I could use some nice quotes to help me through days but I don't think I want them all about God. Thanks for a great review!!

Grammar issues are a huge turn off for me. I'm glad you could get past those and still give the book the review it deserves!

I love inspirational quotes. Their brevity allows for deep thought and introspection and your charming review certainly made the book more appealing.

It’s nice to see books with inspirational themes. Thanks for the review! It’s unfortunate that the lack of editing knocked your rating down a point, but this book still sounds interesting. It must have taken the author quite a bit of time to put together over 1,000 quotes!

I agree with your review, the book is mostly appealing to Christian readers. I also noticed several grammatical errors and misuse of words such as, our instead of are. I do appreciate the amount of time and effort it must have taken to compile all of the inspirational quotes.
