There are some people who like to visit different places, and they always look for a pleasant place. But there are also some people who only think about going on a vacation but never go anywhere. The Ultimate Island by Amit Offir is a book which would give these people inspiration that if you want to go on a vacation then keep everything aside and pack your bags. The author shared his experiences of the tour of Malta. Non-fictions have always been a little boring for me, but this one is different.

Malta is a European island which contains three small islands such as Malta, Gozo, and Comino. Malta is the largest among the three islands. Valletta is Malta's capital. A short history of Malta has been given in this book. Malta got independence on 21st September in 1964. A lot of exotic places such as beautiful gardens, a national aquarium, pools, Marsaxlokk fishing village, Queen Victoria's monument, an old theatre, and a national library are there which will make your journey successful. The old theatre is called the heart of the city. Gozo is the second largest island, and the smallest island is Comino. Comino is a very peaceful place.

The author shared a lot from his personal life which made the book more than a travel story. Readers would understand why Offir travels a lot and what inspires him to do that. He shared the story when he took classes to learn how to light a fire. He explained why we should not blindly believe in the tutorial videos.

Offir shared his failures in a good manner. Failures that led him to success. Most of the time, no one shares their failures, but Offir didn't get ashamed of doing that. There was another thing that I liked a lot was the pictures. These helped me to know about the beauty of the island. I liked how Offir made his vacation even more interesting by travelling around the island on a motorcycle.

There was nothing that I didn't like. The book had everything that a travel book requires.. It was fun to read those exciting experiences. I got to know about the author a lot through this book. As a person, he is like any other normal man who likes to travel, meet people, and do whatever his heart says.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I didn't give it a 3 because I didn't find anything wrong. The editing was also good. There were no typos or grammatical mistakes. I recommend this book to those people who always plan for a vacation, but somehow they didn't make it yet. Also, people who are planning to go somewhere but didn't decide the place can read this book. I am sure this book will help them.

You're totally right: it's important to share our failures as well as our successes so the audience can learn from both. I'm glad this book includes some personal stories, and it's not just a travel guide.
I'm one of those people you mention who loves to travel and never gets to do it, so I think I'll find this book inspiring.

I enjoyed reading this book too. I visited Malta round about the same time as the author and his book made me want to visit it again! Great review!
