Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is the eighth book in the series of the tales of a cat named Inca. Inca is a detective by profession. She has other associates (cats and dogs) who help her in her job.

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is the story about Inca’s visit to South Korea. Inca’s mom who is an actual human being has to take part in an exhibition of cheese in South Korea. She takes Inca and her gang with her. They meet a guy in South Korea who is their host. The host is going through tough times in his personal life. He has been separated from his sister and beloved cat due to the tension between North Korea and South Korea in the Korean Peninsula.

Will proficient and daring Inca and her gang be able to help out their host with their problem-solving skills? You get to know this and witness other fun-stuffs in this story.

I loved this standalone story of the series. R.F. Kristi has written this children’s story very well. The story is short (not very short) and sweet. The flow of the story is smooth even with a bit of suspense to it. It builds an interest that makes you feel to continue reading it till the end. The illustrations throughout the story are pleasing to look at, and they are well-placed. The story even has some moral messages presented in a light-hearted manner for children.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book is well-edited. I did not find any typo or grammatical error in the book. I totally loved the sweet story with a bit of suspense. I also found the illustrations wonderful. I would recommend this read to children between three to ten. They would enjoy the story and the illustrations. Even older people of any age might like this story, which is presented by the author in an interesting manner along with cute illustrations.

First of all, good job on the cover! It's really eye-catching. Secondly, I think children will really enjoy this book. Adventures in Korea seems interesting enough for me. Moreover, if the main characters are kittens. Who doesn't love cute animals?

Sounds like a very cute and interesting book for children. I am definitely going to recommend it for my grandchildren! Adventure and history together, perfect combination for young minds!
