I just finished reading Betrayal of Justice by Mark m. Bello. I gave it 2/4 stars. I loved and highly recommended his first book Betrayal of Justice, but this one just fell short for me

Just finished Buried By Kate Watterson.
I really enjoyed it. Probably 7/10.
First time I had read anything by her, and it will not be the last.

Cold In July by Joe R. Lansdale

He is on the top 10 of my favorite authors, his Hap & Leonard series being my favorite books and also my favorite TV adaptation of any authors. I love all of Lansdales' novels. He writes edgy and realistic everyday life of normal humans getting into normal, scary, uncomfortable situations.

The last book I just finished was What Jesus Wants You to Know Today: About Himself, Christianity, God, the World and Being Human...by Gina Lake. I gave it a 4 out of 4 stars. It was well written, and made one think from a different perspective. This author has written/channeled several books of the same genre. She explained very well how and why each book was written.

I finished M. N. J. Butler's The Fox. On the one hand, it's an immersive dive into Ancient Sparta and its history, but on the other hand, it's a very dense read that can easily exhaust someone who isn't familiar with this time period. Sadly, I fall into the latter category, so my enjoyment has been severely compromised. I almost quit the book at the very beginning, but it does get easier to follow later on, with most of the characters having been introduced and the narrator taking it easier with the interruptions and roundabout storytelling. Still, the copious mistakes in the edition I read and uninteresting characters compel me to rate this 1 out of 4.

Today I went out with my brother to do some shopping and while doing that I stepped inside a bookstore and bought a book.
The book was Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvelous Medicine. I read it and finished it while we were commuting back home.
It was the best 2-3 hours of my life.

I just finished "Storm of Swords" in the Game of Thrones series. I would definitely rate the book a 4 out of 4. There wasn't a lot of "downtime" while reading it. It always kept me wanting to turn the page to see what was coming next.

I last read Health tips, myths and tricks : a physician's advice by Morton E. Tavel MD and I gave it a 3 out of 4 stars. It's quite informative.

The last book I read and reviewed was B-Side. This is an adaptation from a screen play. it looks like it will be published here in the next few days. I gave the is a 3 out of 4. The story was quite good and if not for the issues with failure to remove stage instructions, and an over abundance of backstory, I might have given it a 4 out of 4.

Enclave by Ann Aguirre, this book was so good I didn't want it to end. I would give this book a 4.4 rating out of 5, removing 0.1 point for the length and 0.5 point for the fact that the issue wasn't fully resolved at the end of the book.... it is a three part series however so I'm hoping for a satisfying end.
