The letters between Mila’s grandmother and fiancé were poignant and sweet. They tell about the conditions and horrors that each of them faced during the war. Reading them made me tear up at times. They are a nice touch and are a significant part of the story.
What a wonderful touch to include in this book! It sounds as if they were very special. Thanks for great review!

Also, the fact that the plot, development and description of the characters, and editing were done well make me want to try this. Thank you, Prisallen, for the wonderful review! I really enjoyed reading it.

Romance compounded with history, drama, suspense and mystery is an interesting mix in a novel so I am looking forward to this book. Your review was insightful without giving spoilers. Nice!

I really like it when the author's background is evident in the storyline. It's also evident when an author doesn't know certain things and messes them up badly.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

I realised most romance novels tend to be short. I must read this one. The setting is appealing to me because am a paramedic. This book is a must read.
