The cover of the book is a tad intimidating but once you start turning the pages, the unfolding scenes reveal why this is so. The pages are filled with a series of emotions displayed by its main character Abi aka Seven at two past five. Her lonesome life though dreary has slivers of pleasure here and there. Abi is fearful of the unknown but there is a persevering fire inside her awakened to prove her innocence surrounding an unclear situation. Her fight has been ignited and there is no letting it out.

Upon reading the earlier part of the sample, I feel agitated that I wanted to turn to the last page -- if there is, this being just sample pages. I feel like being in an unreal world, and all these, the ramblings are just metaphors of something, something real, or a parody of reality. That just spurs me to read some more. This actually sounds RIGHT up my alley. My favorite genres are fantasy, sci-fi, and horror, so the surreal or symbolic is beloved by me. The way that you describe the book, plus the cover, reminds me a lot of Dead Like Me from the early 2000's. It sounds like a fun, witty look into a world that reflects our own in an exaggerated way.
