I like the idea of professional fitness and nutrition coaches. Also, I'm curious about the old thoughts and measures that are now outdated. Great review!

Awesome review! I am always looking for information on diet, exercise, and fitness! I used to go to the gym 6 days a week, but now that I am getting older exercise is not that easy! Especially things like pistol squats, any kind of twists and jumps just aren't going to happen! :no-spoil: I need a good book on diet and nutrition for sure. I'm definitely going to check this book out.

Thank you for the review. I'm sure I would a lot more enthusiastic about this book if I hadn't finished a Frappuccino twenty minutes ago, haha. It does sound interesting. There are a lot of theories, diets, and advice books on wellness and health. A lot of them can be confusing because they contradict each other sometimes. This seems like a helpful guide that informs without all of the stress of deciding what is right and wrong.

Wellness Toobox by Don Roberts. I would like to give this book3 out of 4 strars. It seems in today's society that common sense is lacking. There are all the fad diets and patches, the increasing belief that if a person is not a size 2 they are overweight, the more you exercise and the less you eat will make you thinner. My favorite is they have no will power that is why they are fat. It was a pleasant surprise to read a book on health and exercise that contained practical down to earth advice. I do wish that someone would publish a book for people with physical limitations. I will not follow his very good advice as I feel I have reached this ripe old age, and have spent all my life short and fat. I have eaten sensibly ( due to stomach problems ) and now I going to enjoy what time I have left. I will no longer get up at 6:00 am every morning to exercise for 30 minutes. I am not going to refuse to eat something I like in order to live for 5 or 10 more years. No matter what I do I will never shake these health problems.
The book was a joy to read.

Seems like book offers lots of useful information and advice. I would like to read more than just free sample, because I feel that every reader will greatly benefit from this book's content. Great job on both ends - author and reviewer!

I like that the author is debunking certain health myths. There is a LOT of misinformation out there when it comes to health, exercise, and nutrition, so it's important that there are more books out there giving the facts. It stood out that he talks about BMI being outdated - it really is, and I am immediately skeptical toward any doctor, nutritionist, coach, etc that still uses it across the board in 2019. This sounds like a good informational book. Thanks for your review!

This sounds like a well-thoughtout health and fitness book. It's uniqueness stems from the quality content, and also how easily accesible it is. I appreciate the thoroughness of your review.
