Daring to question your beliefs and be able to tell this story so honestly takes a lot of courage. I admire that the author followed her faith, and I'm excited to read more. Congratulations on BOTD!

I can appreciate where this author is coming from with this book. Having experienced these same problems with multiple churches throughout my life, I can certainly see the truth of what is shared here. I loved this review! Nicely detailed and informative, it offers exactly what I need to know about this book, thank you! Great job!

This sounds like the type of book who will benefit many people, as there are unfortunately many churches that do this to their members. It sounds like the book was a slow build but the payoff was worth it in the end. I like your evaluation of her writing style. It made me feel like I had a good grasp on what to expect in the book. Great review!

A novel that follows the story of a Christian couple, Amanda and Gordon Farmer. It's true many people are confused and hurt by the paradigm shift that is shaping thousands of modern churches today. I can't pretend to be an exceptional. I would like to read it. Thanks for your nice review.

This sounds like a must-read book for me. This would ave surely deserved a perfect rating were it not for the errors. Thanks for the enthralling review.

The review of the book shows maturity on the author's life. She don't attack when she found out that she's been offended, but instead she seek ways to resolve the situation peacefully. Thanks for the review.

This will be a relatable read. It is awful when a community turns against you and only in hindsight does it become clear as to how it happened. Unfortunately, this hurtful action has been going on for centuries. I enjoyed reading your review. Thanks!

The transition from an insider to an outsider in a church community can be an unsettling experience. And unfortunately, the marginalized believers is an active topic nowadays. In such cases, I wonder who has more to lose in life, the adherent or the church? Thanks, Noor, for such a wonderful review!

I think this a book all Christians should read as many churches are shifting from what should be, and sadly, many have shifted already. Thanks to the author and the reviewer for bringing us such a lovely book.

It seems that the author does not write this book out of spite or in a retaliating kind of way, but instead she wants to share her hurtful experiences that others may also be going through, as many churches are changing their doctrines and core theology. I like that you likened this book to a glass stained window.

This story seemed interesting, I wonder when was the point the couple realized that the church they devoted their life to started to change and what happened to them as they voiced out their concerns. This was a thorough review, I had a pleasant read.
