What an interesting book that sheds light on the business world. It's a shame that it's such a short(ish) book though. But I love the many twists and turns!

Nice review
But this book is not one I’d go for usually... or ever.

I too do not like raunchy sex things in a thriller or other fiction book. I find it to be unnecessary and pointless to the plot. This book sounds good like one you cannot put down I think I might give it a try. Thanks for the great review!

Good review. Sounds like a great book about the cut-throat business world. A world of secrets, backstabbing, and betrayal. I would be a great book of excitement and adventure into the business world.

I looked this one over before, and I didn’t find myself pulled into the story. Corporate greed and such just doesn’t thrill me. But, what is so good to see is that there are so many books out there for us to enjoy, and your review is certainly well done and has a great enthusiastic tone. Thanks for more insight into this one.

A book that shows a different vision of the business world where there are corporate espionages, intrigues of clandestine agencies and focuses on the expansion of one of the most influential waterways in the world: the Panama Canal. A real approach to the business world where things happen that many people do not imagine.

Scerakor announces a great thriller in The Expansion by Christoph Martin, the promise of which I could see in the sample that I read.
The review gives more reasons as to why it will probably be liked by a wide range of readers. I particularly salute the quality of the plot in that it does not reveal the whodunit before time.
I also understand his less appreciation for the inclusion of a marketing hook at the end of the book.
Definitely, I am hooked, myself, to reading The Expansion.

A fast-paced mystery highlighting underworld corruption in either pursuing or maintaining government leadership among the world sounds intriguing. I'm not crazy about the cover, but it is a good representation of the book. Great review!

I saw this book several months ago and remember that it impressed me enough to want to try it. Now, after reading your review, I remember why. I don't mind cliffhanger endings as long as the whole story does not hinge on that, so I may still give this one a try. Thanks.

This was once the book of the year, so no need of further details to tell that it is a good read. Congratulations on being BOTD and I am wishing to read this one soon

This book sounds quite good and fast-paced. I like that it provides the reader with substantial back stories of various characters. I did enjoy the first part of the sample that had the married couple quickly escaping and boarding their helicopter. I am not a huge fan of stories that lead into another book so I think I will pass on this one. Thank you for the wonderful review!

The review gives absolute vibes to read it. Although I'm an Engineer, so I'd love to read this thriller as the elements are about an Engineer and somewhat about some project. For sure I'll try this one, because the title, the cover page and this review also has my attention!
