This book seems to cover many interesting themes, usually present in the philosophical sphere. I am genuinely interested in reading it. Thank you for the review!

Sound like an intellectual and philosophical analysis of why man commit atrocities against man. A book to read for me. Great review.

I wouldn't have guessed this book revolved around the Holocaust. This detail from the review makes me so much more interested. From other general reviews, I thought it was simply a study of human life but didn't realise it revolved around deeper issues. I'd love to know more information on that.

This book sounds like something I would read in my philosophy/sociology classes. I always found both of those subjects to be incredibly fascinating. Great review!

This nonfiction book written by a holocaust survivor sounds fascinating. I am curious to read about his analysis of humans and human interaction. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

I agree, this book sounds a bit dry. But the review promises otherwise. Wasn’t a fan of my sociology class, but might give this a try.

I don't care for philosophy and I would rather read a story, so I'll pass.

I like the subjects this book touches. The human nature and it's ability to act inhuman is very interesting. I like that it deals with the Holocaust. I can't wait to read this.

Philosophical in nature, I think this book is quite unique in the non-fiction genre. Readers who like philosophical discussions should definitely give this a read. Thank you for your honest and thorough review.

Well, it sounds like this should be not just the book of the day but the book of the century. The similarities between this time in US history and the pre-holocaust period in Germany are terrifyingly parallel. Perhaps if democracy is to be preserved, and another genocide is to be prevented, all should read this book.

Thank you for a great review. Initially I was put off by the scholarly approach - perhaps it was too much before I finished my first cup of coffee. But it is a very interesting subject, and it may be worth my continued reading. Your input about the clarity of the writing and the relative brevity of the book is also encouraging.

Interesting review for something I won't read. It is not that you couldn't convince me, just that I unfortunately have no interest whatsoever in the subject matter of this book. Congrats on BOTD!
