This sounds like a fascinating crime mystery, and I'm glad that the prostitution and sex are de-emphasized. I'll see about finding time to read this tale. Thanks for the review!

When I saw the title of the book I thought this book was going to be an autobiography about a judge, not a prostitute. Great review. I am looking forward to reading this.

I am a fan of thriller, mystery, adventure and romance, so this book seems right up my alley! I wonder why a judge of all people would be the one framed for Black the Prostitute's murder. I look forward to reading how Peter's humor and charm help him solve the crimes that come up. Thanks for the review.

I like mysteries, and I'm glad to know this one is fast-paced. Peter's character seems very likable. Thanks for your review.

I like that the characters are consistent and well-developed. However, I wonder about the enemies becoming friends and allies turning on you. It sounds a bit cliche. I'll have to pass on this book.

Thank you for the lovely review. I do love the fact that the book also has very few sex scenes as it balances the original theme of the book. I will add it to my want to read list.

A male prostitute ends up murdered. He kept a journal of all his encounters, and now his clients are being watched. Sounds interesting to me. Too bad to hear about the grammar errors.

The story appears to exemplify the saying that what goes around comes around through the character of Bobby Black. Thanks for the wonderful review.

Appealing! A male prostitute is murdered. If he were a common prostitute, nothing would've happened, but he pleased many aristocrats that now want to keep their adventures as a secret. I love the plot of this series. It has suspense. I wonder who the killer was and what happened to those diaries. This series sounds perfect to take and read when I go to the doctor and have to wait long eternal hours. I think this book couod make my wait seem shorter.

Thanks for the informative review. I read the free sample and felt immediately pulled in but was concerned that the entire story might be full of graphic sex revolving around the sex trade.
But now I feel better that I can download/purchase it because I do love a good mystery and adding a conspiracy to it... Well, that puts me in my element.
Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing what book you will read and review next. :tiphat:

These sound like great books for anyone who loves thrillers. It is nice when you like all the characters involved, from the victim to the falsely accused to the lawyer in charge of the case.

A fantastic review! Usually, I would shy away from a novel like this, but I am completely intrigued. I like how the prostitution was not the main focus but added to the mystery.
