Bluebird03 gives a comprehensive review of both books that cover the topic of The Judge.
I like this type of mystery in the first place, so the reviewer just confirmed, with solid arguments, my hunch that this will be a good, rewarding read for me. I hope that this solicitor who sides with the underdog will be successful in saving the Judge.
I did not quite understand this section: "...this dizzying saga where enemies become friends and allies secretly plot your revenge". Whose revenge is she talking about?
Other than that, a great review.

A mystery that has continuous twists and surprises sounds like a page-turner. A high-class male prostitute is murdered and is the mystery to be solved. I'm glad to know that the book is focused on solving the murder rather than on prostitution. Thanks for the candid review!

I don't mind some thrillers, but this book's plot doesn't sound interesting to me. After reading the sample, the grammatical errors were obvious and reaffirmed my decision in not reading it. However, I am glad you could overlook them and enjoyed the story. Thanks for your review.

I am not quite certain this one is for me, but it sounds like you were quite captivated by the storyline. I read mostly non-fiction, and I’m not so sure this would be something I would enjoy. I know you mentioned that the graphic sexual scenes were not included, but what about violence? I’m not a big fan of that either. Thanks for more insight into this one.

I have to be honest, a book has to be really amazing if I'm willing to pick up volume 2 when it's clear it's still the same case that's being examined. I have to ask, is the story meaty enough to be divided over two books, or did you feel that they could have been condensed in one?
