I enjoyed your review of this book. It's too bad there were so many errors, but it sounds like it didn't affect the book too much. Although I do like the occasional mystery, I think I'll pass on this story. Thank you for a wonderfully detailed review!

It’s entertaining though. Portraying of the characters were awesome but I think the characters were too many. My opinion

I don't usually enjoy mysteries, but the 'relationship' between Peter and the now-deceased Bobbie Black intrigued me. On the one hand, they had not been friends. Even so, Parker seems to harbor some respect for the young man. Enough, in fact, to risk his life to expose Bobbie's killer. I think that says a lot about the character. I was pleased to snag a copy in the giveaway. Thanks for the interesting review!

I understand your point about the editing errors, but I am glad that you liked both the books overall. Congrats to the author on the 3/4 rating.

Sounds like an intense novel, but the character development and humor you described do sound appealing.

I read the sample and noticed a bunch of errors in the first two chapters which caught me off guard, but I dont think it took away from the book. I enjoyed the authors writing style and I am curious to see how the book unfolds!

This sounds like a great read but it is not my cup of tea, it seems. I am glad that it was captivating and full of twists and turns. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for your insightful review. The plot sounds interesting enough for anyone to pick it up, but two books sounds like a major committment.

Thank you for the honest review! This sounds like an intriguing read...but two books for one does sound like quite the commitment! Too bad about the multitude of errors, but it sounds like they didn’t detract from the overall quality.

I like that the book exposes the rot among London's elite and their double standards lives, especially for an otherwise reputable judge of the High Court in London. Nice review.

You had me at this part, mostly the thrill, adventure and mystery part. I look forward to flipping through the pages of this beautiful book and journeying with Peter in his quest for justice.

I enjoy a good crime thriller, especially ones that center around old European cultures. Congrats on BOTD!

A knighted gentleman accused of murdering his lover, a male prostitute no less? Juicy stuff! In Trinidad we would say, "That is bacchanal!" I want this book. I want to find out what is in those diaries!

I read the sample from Amazon and it caught my attention immediately. I found that I could not stop reading and I was sorely disappointed when my sample ended. Of course I had to purchase the book! Can't wait to read it.
