Positive changes conect with having an open mind, willing to take risk, do things different, forget about obstacles and focus on better result.
"If Life Stinks, Get Your Head Outta Your Butts:A No-Nonsense Guid to Happiness and Success"-by Mark L. Wdowiak gave us a wealth of knowledge and experience. The Author emphasized on the power of prayer, the process of Crawling, Walking and Running to acheive success in life.

I like that the author has focused on a multifaceted approach to success, not just merely having a good job or a wonderful life/work balance. His belief that one area of one's success leads to another is, therefore, a good way of advising on success. Thanks for the thorough review.

I am totally agree with the author. Positive thoughts can simplify your problems. If Life Stinks, Get Your Head Outta Your But's by Mark L. Wdowiak is a guide book. I liked the idea of this book.

Great review! Sounds like a fairly run-of-the-mill self-help book, but the title is kind of off-putting. I don’t really understand the purpose of the “but’s.” I’ll pass on this one!

It's quite interesting how our life is broken down to different stages like: Crawling, Walking and Running. Seems like this read has lot to offer. Thank you!

I can't say that I'm a huge fan of self-help books, but this one seems like a good one! The title is definitely witty, and the author's writing style would definitely inspire the reader to get one's head outta your but's! Thanks for the review.

I like how Mark personalizes success to be from one's own perspective. Further, I can also do with inspirational quotes and inspirational advice. Thanks for the review.

" Crawling focuses on taking responsibility for yourself, Walking focuses on taking control of your thinking, and finally Running puts it all together and encourages you to get out there and be successful. " I don't know if I will read it. Ut I definitely agree with these concepts. Before I lived a life blaming others for things that happened. And although they may have caused the obstacles I decided to take control and not let it keep affecting me negatively. I decided to make changes so I was aware and they to focus on being a better me one day at a time.i realize my past does not determine my future...I Do! Congratulations on BOTD.

As I read through the sample of this book, I didn't feel like I was just reading another book. But I honestly felt as if I was having a discussion with an old friend. Or perhaps reading the words of an old friend that knows what I'm going through and truly wants to help me get through the tough times in my life to help me to become more successful.

I do read some self-help books, but in all of the ones that I have read, I have never read one that made me feel like there was someone sitting directly across from me, talking to me about the ups and downs of life and giving me sound advice. Even though some of the things that the author, Mark L Wdowiak, had mentioned during the writing of this book has been said to me by family and friends. It never really stuck until I read it, again, in his book.

However, there was a phrase that really stuck out to me, "To be truly successful at anything, you must first accept yourself as you are and appreciate what you currently have." I have been through so many touch situations, and I know that many have it worse off than I do, this I accept, I acknowledge. The only problem with this phrase that I have a lot of trouble with is accepting myself. I have VERY low self esteem, I always have and so I never accepted myself for the way that I am. i am still having trouble with this concept of my life, but I am trying to get better at this. I honestly believe that if I was able to read through the rest of his book, it would really help me out in certain areas of my life, and perhaps to point out where I could improve, what I needed to let go and perhaps what I needed to pick up. I am very thankful that I was given the opportunity to be able to read the sample of this book and it has now been added to my TBR list.

Sometimes a more direct and firm approach is needed to encourage a person to get out of a deadlock. The title itself is uplifting. Not all people react positively to this method, but some might relate to this form of motivation. Thank you for an informative review!

Cut back on relaxing! At first that sounds not-so-appealing, but that is a good point. Have to be in the mood for a self-help book though.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. You took the words right out of my mouth; “tough love”. I like this approach to self-help and I have personally found it to be much more effective than coddling someone. I have to add that positive reinforcement goes well with tough love.
